Sports clubs and associations are united in the Association of Sports Associations of the town of Dugi Selo. Various sports events are held in the city throughout the year. In Dugi Selo are the headquarters of the handball and sports-fishing association of the Zagreb County. There are 1,100 registered athletes in several sports clubs and associations in the city.
